Pano Tuner is a free chromatic tuner that runs entirely in your web browser — no app store, no installation, no account. Open the page, allow microphone access, play a note, and a vintage-style analog dial shows you the nearest note and exactly how many cents sharp or flat you are. It tunes anything with a pitch: guitars, basses, ukuleles, violins, mandolins, banjos, brass, woodwinds, voices.
What the tuner offers
- Chromatic detection — all twelve notes, any octave, any tuning.
- A cents needle and fine-tuning band for precise readings.
- Adjustable reference pitch (A4 = 440 Hz by default, adjustable for 432, 442 and anything between).
- Historical temperaments — Pythagorean, meantone, Werckmeister, Vallotti and more, plus custom offsets.
- Transposition for B♭, E♭, F and other transposing instruments.
- Reference tones so you can tune by ear, from C0 to B8.
Your microphone stays private
The tuner analyzes audio locally, inside your browser. Sound from your microphone is processed in real time to estimate pitch and immediately discarded — nothing is recorded, stored, or sent to any server. The page works the same offline once loaded. Details are in our privacy policy.
